The $100,000.00 Legacy Partnership
This is a standalone, independent bonus program. It has nothing to do with your regular lease pay, your Longevity bonus, or your Tires for Life program. Those stay exactly as they are. This is pure, extra cash on a separate track.
The Deal
If you refer a solid owner-operator to Booker, and both of you run reasonable, we will pay you both a combined $100,000.00 ($50,000.00 cash directly to you, and $50,000.00 cash directly to your referral) split over 5 years.
The Payout Schedule (Cash paid directly to BOTH of you):
Length of Service
Year 1: $5,000.00 each ($1,000.00 advanced at your referral’s 90-day mark so you see it’s real;
the other $4,000.00 paid at their 12-month anniversary).
Year 2: $7,500.00 each at 24 months.
Year 3: $10,000.00 each at 36 months.
Year 4: $12,500.00 each at 48 months.
Year 5: $15,000.00 each at 60 months.
The Only Four Rules
We don’t hide the ball, so here are the exact metrics you both have to hit to cash in:
1. Pull Your Weight (96,000 Miles a year): We pay for rubber on the road, not trucks parked in the driveway. To collect the cash at the end of each year, both your truck and your partner’s truck must hit our standard Legacy minimum of 96,000 total miles for that 12-month period. You have to work for it, but it is entirely attainable for a real hand.
2. Both or Neither: This is a team sport. If you run hard but your buddy slacks off, takes two months of vacation, and misses the mark, neither one of you gets the bonus for that year. Pick partners who actually want to work.
3. The Clean Slate Rule (Miss a Year, Don’t Lose the Deal): Look, we know trucking happens. If you have a bad year because of a major breakdown, an illness, or freight slumps, and you miss your mileage goal in Year 2, you forfeit that specific $7,500.00 payout. But it does not kill your 5-year partnership. When Year 3 starts, the slate is wiped completely clean. If you both put your heads down and hit the miles in Year 3, you still collect every dime of that $10,000.00 milestone. One tough year won’t cheat you out of the rest of the legacy cash.
4. The 60-Day Salvage Window: If your partner quits, gets sick, or cancels their lease, your hard work isn’t wiped out. Your progress freezes, and you have 60 days to recruit a replacement runner to step into the open slot and rescue your 5-year track.
Clean Sheets Only (Safety & Compliance)
To protect our safety score and our reputation on the highway, both trucks must maintain a clean record every 12 months:
• No Preventable Accidents: A single preventable crash by either driver knocks both out of the bonus for that year.
• No Serious Logbook Violations: Minor form-and-manner typos on your logs won’t hurt you. However, if a DOT officer catches you severely over your hours (11, 14, or 70-hour rules) and places you or your truck Out-of-Service (OOS) during an inspection, your milestone cash for that 12-month period is dead. You must keep your logs current.
• No Service Failures: No customer service write-ups, no cell phone write-ups, and no refused loads.
Small Fleet Referrals
If a Booker owner-operator (you) refers a new truck that is owned by a fleet owner and run by a hired driver, the $100,000.00 partnership pool is paid out to the two contracting truck owners:
• The Referrer’s Share: You (the referring owner-operator) collect your full $50,000.00 portion over 5 years for bringing the business in, paid directly to your settlements according to the standard schedule.
• The Referred Truck’s Share: The remaining $50,000.00 portion is paid directly to the new Truck Owner’s settlement track. Because that truck requires both the iron and a driver to hit the 96,000-mile goal, the internal distribution of that bonus is strictly between the new Truck Owner and their driver.
• The Notification: The day a milestone bonus is achieved, the office sends an email confirmation directly to the referrer and the new Truck Owner stating that the milestone has been successfully paid to their respective accounts. (While this program is designed to inspire performance, any bonus distribution regarding a hired driver is strictly a private matter between that driver and the Truck Owner.)
• Protecting the Track: If the hired driver leaves that truck for any reason, the milestone progress for that unit simply pauses. The standard 60-Day Salvage Window kicks in to allow the new Truck Owner time to seat a new driver, get the wheels turning again, and protect the 5-year track record for both themselves and the original referrer.

No banks, no interest, and no red tape—just a clean repayment track of 90 days or less handled seamlessly through small weekly settlement deductions. Once your balance is paid back, your emergency line immediately resets to the full $5,000.00, giving you a permanent safety net to protect your business and your cash flow when it matters most.
• The Legacy Gear: You and your partner will each be issued a heavy-duty, laser-engraved stainless Legacy Partner Travel Mug serialized with your specific truck numbers, a Legacy cap and an embroidered Legacy jacket. You can’t buy these; you have to earn them.
